Higher Learning Commission Events


The Higher Learning Commission provides a number of tools to help campus administrators obtain information on best practices and updates in accreditation as well as to train peer reviewers.

Calendar of Events

The Commission has developed a comprehensive calendar of our events and key dates.  The calendar is searchable by topic.  

Annual Conference

The Annual Conference, held each spring, provides an opportunity for campus administrators to obtain information on best practices, updates in accreditation, and networking resources.  

The Higher Learning Commission's 2011 Annual Conference, will be held April 8–12 in Chicago.  The Call for Proposals is now open.

Workshops

Workshops, Roundtables, and Strategy Forums are all resources developed by the Commission to aid campus administrators understand the accreditation process and improve their ability to conduct quality education.  Some events are mandatory for certain accreditation processes, and some are by invitation only.

Key Dates

The Commission has a number of key dates and deadlines for meetings of the decision-making bodies, including the Board of Trustees, Accreditation Review Council, and the Institutional Actions Council.
