Accreditation at the Master's degree level is limited to the Master of Science in Nursing, the Master in Education, and the Master of Arts in Religion degree programs. Additional offerings at the Master’s degree level, except for those offered in Education and Nursing for continuing education purposes, are limited to five courses or twenty semester hours per year. This includes the offerings of courses at high schools in Iowa and the Tri-City Prep High School in Prescott, Arizona.
Approval of New Degree Locations: The Commission's Streamlined Review Process is only available for offering existing degree programs at new sites within a 300-mile radius of Lamoni, Iowa.
Approval of Distance Education Degrees: Prior Commission approval required for distance education programs other than the Master's in Education; Master of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner, Clinical Nurse Specialist/Educator, and Health Care Administration); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN to BSN program); Bachelor of Arts in Addiction Studies; in Fitness Leadership; and in Health Care Administration.
